A small Introduction
LEMCO has been supplying the Lebanese market with Mitsubishi Electric’s products since 1969. The very beginning was the distribution of Mitsubishi Electric’s fans and sewing machines.
During the 1970s the product portfolio expanded to include radios, cassette decks, and Black & White television. The year 1978 witnessed the introduction of the first ME Air Conditioner Window Unit to the Lebanese market.
By the beginning of the years 2000, LEMCO’s portfolio included colored televisions, refrigerators, and all types of split AC units operating with R22 gas refrigerant. With the evolution of the industry Mitsubishi Electric cut down on the production of domestic home appliances, including radios, cassette decks and home televisions.
